Prop 65

Transparency and Compliance for California Consumers

At NuBest, we are committed to the safety of our customers and transparency in our operations. In accordance with California’s Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, we are providing the following notice to our customers residing in California.

Proposition 65 requires businesses to inform Californians about the presence of certain chemicals in the products they purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. These chemicals are identified by the State of California as potentially causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

⚠ WARNING (as required under California law):

Some products sold on this website may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm. This does not necessarily mean that our products pose a health risk when used as directed. Rather, this warning is being provided in accordance with Proposition 65 to inform California consumers of the potential presence of such chemicals.

Understanding Proposition 65

We understand that warnings like these may raise questions or concerns. It is important to clarify the following:

  • Proposition 65 is a right-to-know law. It is not a product safety law. A Proposition 65 warning does not mean a product is unsafe; it simply means that the product may contain trace amounts of one or more of the 900+ chemicals on the State’s list.

  • Many of these chemicals are common in the environment and found in everyday items such as food, coffee, tap water, cookware, clothing, household goods, and electronics.

  • The exposure thresholds set by Proposition 65 are often 100 to 1,000 times lower than levels determined to be safe by other regulatory agencies, such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

  • A warning is required even when the presence of a listed chemical is well below levels shown to cause harm, if the product meets California’s extremely low warning thresholds.

Why Is This Warning Included on Some NuBest Products?

Certain natural ingredients, minerals, or plant-based components may inherently contain trace amounts of metals or other naturally occurring substances on the Proposition 65 list, such as lead, cadmium, or arsenic. These can be present in herbal extracts, calcium, or mineral-rich ingredients due to their natural origin.

NuBest does not intentionally add these substances to any product. All products are tested to meet applicable federal safety standards, and warnings are provided when required by California law.

Our Commitment to Quality and Safety

  • We work with trusted manufacturing partners who follow strict quality control standards.

  • All formulations are evaluated according to FDA guidelines and other applicable U.S. and international regulations.

  • We aim to provide products that are safe, effective, and clearly labeled so customers can make informed decisions.
